A Message from the Minister

We’re an ordinary group of small-town church with big-hearted people, trying our best to live out an extraordinary kind of love — the kind Jesus talked about and follow Jesus in everyday life — at home, at work, on the farm, in the village, and everywhere in between. Whether you’ve been in church forever, haven’t been since a childhood Christmas pageant, or are just curious, there’s space for you among us.  You’ll be welcomed just as you are. For us community matters and everyone belongs.

We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:00 AM.

• The first Sunday of the month includes Holy Communion, open to all who wish to share.

• On the third Sunday, we worship at our Kars location. 

• We’re also excited about something newer in our life together. On the fourth Sunday of every month at 4:00 PM, we host a relaxed Community Worship Service. It’s less formal, a bit more interactive,  where kids can be kids, youth can belong, and families can grow in faith together.

And while coffee isn’t an every-Sunday tradition here, good food and good company definitely are. We host a community breakfast on the second Saturday of each month, where neighbours gather around the table.  It is open to everyone, with donations gratefully received. It’s one more way we gather around tables as well as pews.

Yes, we’re a church where children’s laughter, youth energy, and caring community are part of everyday life.

Faith doesn’t require you to have all the answers — just an open heart and a willingness to journey together. We’d love to meet you, share a smile, and journey together.  We hope you’ll join us and experience the warmth, welcome, and community that make this church home.
